Your information

Privacy notice

Provisional — to be reviewed before publication. This notice is a working draft. Provider arrangements, retention and data flows must be confirmed against the completed service before deployment.

Who we are

ORP Investigations is operated by Jamie Williams. You can contact ORP about privacy or the use of your information at enquiries@orpinvestigations.co.uk.

Information you provide

The contact form asks for your name, email address, confirmation of your email address and message. These fields are mandatory. Your job title and organisation are optional. You may also contact ORP directly by email.

Please avoid including names of people involved in an allegation, case evidence or other sensitive personal information in an initial enquiry. If ORP is appointed, appropriate and secure arrangements for sharing investigation information will be agreed separately.

Why we use your information

We use the information you provide to respond to your enquiry, understand your requirements and discuss potential work. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries and operating our investigation service. Your name, email address and message are required to submit the contact form so that we can address you, understand your enquiry and reply. Job title and organisation are optional. We also ask you to confirm your email address to help prevent typing errors.

Website and enquiry providers

The website is prepared for AWS hosting and an AWS enquiry service, with Cloudflare Turnstile to help protect the form against automated spam. The actual providers, information they receive, processing locations, safeguards and any technical logs will be confirmed before the form is activated and this notice is finalised.

How long information is kept

The proposed retention period for enquiries that do not lead to work is 12 months. The final retention schedule, including email, service logs and backup copies, will be confirmed before deployment. Information relating to commissioned work will be addressed separately in the relevant engagement arrangements.

Your rights

You can contact ORP to ask about access to your personal information, correction, deletion, restriction or objection to its use. The rights that apply depend on the circumstances. The final notice will explain these rights and how to raise a concern with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.

Cookies and similar technologies

The static website does not include analytics or advertising tools. The final notice will describe any cookies, storage or technical information associated with the configured security and hosting services after those services have been audited.

Draft prepared 14 October 2026. Publication review pending.
